Our Story

Everything started at the end of the pandemic.

Jesse was already studying in Breda when Miruna enrolled at the same university and moved into the same student house. 
Being housemates they saw each other fairly often and as they spent more and more time together, they quickly grew close. 

A couple of months later, they decided to start a relationship and things took off from there.

After graduating they both found work, moved out of the shared student housing and found their first apartment in Bodegraven. Finally, a place together where they lived without others!

There were good times and bad times side by side, and many lessons were learned. As they grew together, they loved each other more and more.

During a cold winter day in Romania, they went hiking through the gorge of Turzii. As they reached the hills on the other side it had become dark already. Here on top of the hill, under the stars, is where Jesse went on one knee and presented the ring to Miruna.

And the rest is history!
